I don't know

 I don’t know.

For a little while now I have been getting comfortable with this phrase.  It did not come easily as I have often felt like I should know everything, at least about some things.  Or at least to appear like I did, as if not knowing was not good enough.  My self worth was tied in very strongly with my always having an answer.

But saying ‘I don’t know’ is so liberating.

Eating for healthy skin

Just as what we put on our skin affects what goes on in our bodies, so what we eat has a huge impact on the health of our skin.  Every cell of our body is continually renewing itself.  It does  so from the materials we provide for it, and if we don’t provide enough of the necessary  vitamins and nutrients in the food we consume, the body will take it from it's own stores  causing imbalances and deficiencies.

DIY Face & Body Scrubs

Face and body scrubs are some of the easiest skincare products you can make yourself, they are so much fun to create, and save you a lot of money in the long term.

Regular exfoliation removes dead skin cells which build up on the surface of the skin, cleans  away oil, dirt and impurities, unblocks pores, detoxifies, stimulates circulation and clears the  complexion.  It also stimulates circulation, improving the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the  skin and aiding detoxification.  It will also nourish the skin through the many nutrients and  vitamins found in the chosen ingredients.

Is your nail polish impacting your health + recipe

I don’t have to be better, I just have to be me

Today I saw an online course that is so much along the lines of what I want to create.  When I read it I wanted to cry, because it was me on the page.  Exactly me! What I am, what I have to offer, what I want to create. And instead of thinking, shit!  Someone else has already done it and it is so much better than what I could ever do, which is what I most definitely would have thought in the past, I felt simple joy and excitement.

Learning to do nothing

At the start of this year I made the decision to live my life with complete trust, trust in my intuition and inner guidance, and trust in life to always have my back.  To let go of the control that has been my constant companion for as long as I can remember.   I wanted to learn to just allow things to flow naturally.   That is still my intention.

Just Start

For years I’ve been saying I want to start a blog. That I will soon. One day. When I have more time. So many excuses have moved me from one day to the next, always keeping that desire for a blog ahead of me, in front somewhere but never in the now.  How often do we do that, keep our dreams just out of reach, some distance away.  Allowing fear of the unknown to keep us from getting too close to them.
